This video, part I in a series, represents the culmination of the combined efforts of James Ridgeway – who owns the copyright, Pat Bliss – who assisted in the filming, our wonderful interpreter – who requested anonymity, but did an awesome job – and myself – who turned the knobs and punched the buttons.
My original intention was to provide the interpretation in the form of subtitles, but I quickly became aware that our interpreter’s voice-over was so expressive and packed with emotion, that subtitles simply wouldn’t do justice to the feeling of the piece.
This stands alone as one of the single most powerful interviews I have ever seen.
Pat Bliss has informed me that Felix has recently been transferred to a camp with other Deaf, and has not again, experienced the trauma expressed in this video.

I won’t disagree with that, Mike. However, the individuals who killed that man have confessed. Felix did nothing, and therefore doesn’t deserve what’s happened to him.

Back-up, the individuals confessed? Actually one of the men who I think you are referring to was the man named Ray and he passed away. The other confession was his brother Francisco and Francisco was sentenced 99 years and with good behavior is is scheduled to get out of prison before the year of 2030. Do you find it ironic that his brother (Francisco) decided to take the blame years and years after the sentencing? Why would he confess? Sounds like there could be a possibility that he might be taking the blame knowing that he will be getting out of prison and that by him taking the blame, maybe it would free Felix.

Yes, Ray is dead. But, before he died, he testified in an evidentiary hearing, at which he confessed. The judge ruled that since he had lied in all previous testimonies, his confession could not be believed either. Frank has sent documents to Felix, personally, in which he has admitted to the murder, but he won’t go on record. Felix’s sister – Tina – is the only one who’s not currently in jail, and she too has confessed to Felix directly, but refuses to implicate herself on record. In fact, she will only allow Felix to communicate with her by mail, out of fear of having phone calls recorded.
I really do appreciate your input on this, but I am only the editor of this Web site. The person you need to be talking to is Pat Bliss. If you are interested, there isn’t a person alive who knows more about this case. I can put you in touch with her, if you would like.

Actually, I may be confused. I think Frank is the one who confessed in court and is now dead. Pat Bliss is in Florida now, and will be updating us on the case when she returns. I will get clarification from her at that time. Until then, I’m sorry for any confusion.

Frank is the one who confessed and like i said, he only confessed after he was sentenced and he realized he was going to get out of jail. I do understand that you are the editor on the web site but it does upseet people when they are close to the situation and the whole story is not told. Only one side of this story is being told. Please note that Pat Bliss was not at the original hearing, Pat got on the case years after the case had started. So Pat does not have all the information that people have who were on the case since day 1 and in the court room.
Sn: I am not blaming you for the false info and I understand your role in the story but I do think that the actual facts need to be told, not one persons opinion (Bliss)

If you have any information on this case from an earlier perspective than that of Pat Bliss, by all means we would want to hear it. I would be glad to enter into a dialog w/ you via e-mail. Would you be willing to write a guest post? We are always looking for information and have a genuine desire to get all the facts out, in every story we cover.
I’m curious. Our goal is to see Felix released. There is abundant evidence as to his innocence. You have commented several times on this post, and I truly do appreciate that, but I need to ask you – do you believe Felix to be innocent? Would you support us in our efforts to see him receive the justice he deserves? Please feel free to respond. I’m truly interested in your opinion.

I agree that Felix can hear the sounds or noise like birds, cars, airplane, trains, else, but he DONT understand the words!!!! I am deaf, too. I understand how he feels. So I have one hearing aid with helping me to hear only sounds, but not understand the words like Felix!
