Eighth and Final Chapter in the Felix Garcia Video Series

By BitcoDavid

Here, at long last is chapter 8 in our video interview series with innocent Deaf inmate, Felix Garcia. Those of you who have followed us on this journey know that Felix has served 30 years – so far – for a crime he didn’t commit. DeafInPrison.com is one among many who have worked to try to gain Felix his freedom.

This video is owned and copyrighted by James Ridgeway of SolitaryWatch.com. It can’t be copied, reproduced or embedded, but you are of course welcome to share the link to this page.

Tomorrow, I will put up a post containing links to all 8 chapters in sequence. That way, those of you who haven’t seen them all, will be able to do so.

As you know, there is a petition available where you can help deliver this vital message to the Governor of Florida, the Attorney General and 2 influential cabinet members. Here’s that link.

If you’d like to make a financial contribution to the court case, you can send a check or MO to

Write “For Felix Garcia” on the memo line.

This is a trust fund established to pay for incidental expenses necessary for the case. The attorney is working pro bono, and neither DeafInPrison.com, BitcoDavid BlogSites nor any of our contributors will receive any of the funds.

  2. I have a question….. why don’t National Association of the Deaf help to Felix Garcia get out the prison? 30 years in prison he did not commit the crime in first place.

    1. Thank you for your comment. That’s a very good question. DeafInPrison.com has reached out to the NAD on several occasions, and is still working to open a dialog. So far – sadly – they seem unwilling to get involved.

  3. Thank you for showing all 8 interview parts,,, this is so mind-blowing experience for me. I as Deaf person would be so fearful living in that kind of prison. Those people who refuse to provide Felix any service, then wait and see. Karma will catch up and haunt them!
Also can I please take a copy of few clips then share it with everyone and thousands people in the world… I would like for everybody to get together at courthouse when Felix is scheduled to appear at parolee hearing/clemency. Do you know when?

    1. Thank you very much for your comment. Unfortunately, DeafInPrison.com does not own the copyright on these videos, and the copyright holder has specifically asked that we don’t allow them to be shared, copied or downloaded. As to your second question, it appears our hopes for a clemency hearing in December, have been dashed. Pat Bliss is now working on a parole hearing in January. As readers of this site know, I would much prefer either clemency or full pardon, to parole. But, as Pat has reminded me on numerous occasions, any way to get Felix out, is better than leaving him in there.
