This is the first live blog, testing my new newsbridge Internet setup. I’m here, the baby signer, and I’ve just learned week, power, computer, remember, and I can count to 100. It’s harder than you would think, but I’m picking it up. I’m determined to learn. Marsha Graham is very helpful, and she’s loaned me 2 books, Signing Naturally, and the Gallaudet Dictionary of ASL. It’s huge.
I’m really loving this. And slowly, I’m learning a bit of sign. You would be surprised how much sense ASL makes. Many of the signs are compound words involving other, much simpler signs. Oh well, as my battery wanes, I need to wrap this test post up. But stay tuned, we’re going to be doing some real interesting things involving this live blogging concept.

We love having you there and learning! Yea! (Deaf clapping!) Now, the words for today are: Word, Apple, Onion, Number(s), 1-20, Blind, Deaf, Computer, Home, and probably several dozen more – including What, Why, How Many, and Tattoo (picture/pin pricks).

Thank you Pat. And may I add that I could say the same of you! I was a bit surprised – but very pleased – to see a comment from you, on here.
